Access
to Ad-Deir (The Monastery) can be done through the back trail known as The
Monastery Route or by climbing 800 steps via the Ad-Deir Trail from Petra.
Each
trail provides magnificent views of the rugged terrain, the layered rocky
mountains and desert landscape.
