Devin's Crown, Galapagos

The Devil’s Crown is a unique little islet found near Floreana.  It’s a ring of jagged rocks underneath which is found one of the richest shallow-sea habitats in all the Galapagos.

Tourists come here for its excellent snorkeling, hoping to spot candy-coloured parrotfish and wrasses, elegant whitetip reef sharks flitting through the reefs, and even serene green sea turtles and manta rays gliding through the deep blue.

Then, afterwards, when drying off on one of the tiny beaches, one can watch the charismatic cheeky blue-footed boobies playing in the air, and the sea lions relaxing on the rocks.
