Llandudno was a Victorian seaside resort, a place where middle-class families would come in summer for a variety of outings and activities.
He entre of the holidaymakers’ community was here, on this grand old pier, where beautiful views of the bay and mountain could be enjoyed.
Even today, the pier retains a sense of nostalgia for days gone by and simpler times, when a Ferris wheel was a marvel and ice cream a rare and exotic treat.
