Mount
Ibuki is the tallest mountain in the Shiga Prefecture. From its summit it has spectacular
uninterrupted panoramic views including that of Lake Biwa.
Its
alpine flower fields are a national natural treasure, and the mountain is home
to the Japanese Golden Eagle.
