The Monastery of San Xulian de Samos has always been breathtaking to visitors. Of particular note are the frescoes near the cloister and the magnificent Baroque fountain in the garden.
These
visitors witness a long tradition where Benedictine monks worked and prayerd
here since at least the 6th century.
Likewise, pilgrims have come to enjoy the peace of the carefully tended
gardens and marvel at the grandiosity of the church’s Gothic Baroque
architecture.
