British Indian Cuisine, Lands End

Buttery Tikka Masala, fragrant mountains of multi-coloured rice, crispy bhajis and infernally spicey vindaloos for only the most daring of uncles.

British Indian Cuisine brings together the cooking traditions of the Indian subcontinent, the innovation of immigrant Desis making good in a far-off land and local taste preferences.  The curry has now become as British as Fish and Chips and its heartland is here in the north, along the famous Curry Mile in Manchester or in the curry houses of Bradford.
