The
breathtaking Sentinel Pass is reached via a strenuous hike through the gorgeous
Larch Valley.
It’s
all steep ascents and sharp drops, but it’s always worth it.
The
pass allows some of the nest views of the Rockies, showcasing craggy peaks and
the spire-like rock formations known as pinnacles.
The
journey is best in Autumn, when the trees of Larch Valley wear their Fall
foliage, making the sides of the mountain pass shimmer like spun gold.
